Scroll the page. The film stays in place, each shot plays by itself, and the text beside it is what the narrator says. Turn the sound on under the film to hear it. This is the first part of the Search practicum; the other parts are in Ukrainian for now.

Who reads the open web, what stays after they have read it, and what actually keeps a page closed.
What to take away
- Programs read the open web. Anything published without a login, treat as read and saved.
- robots.txt is a request, noindex hides a page from results, and only a login keeps a spider out.
- Search looks in an index, a dated snapshot. "Nothing found" means "not in this index for this query".
